Brussels, 13/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - EU justice and home affairs ministers will continue their discussion on Thursday morning on how to include the Prüm Treaty, known as Schengen III, into the European legal order. Transposition of the Prüm Treaty, advocated by the German EU Presidency, would allow the police forces of different member states to work more closely together, mainly through DNA data sharing, and the sharing of fingerprints and motor vehicle registration records.
