Presidency hopes to unblock dossier on voluntary modulation in March which was taken hostage at European Parliament

Brussels, 13/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - The German presidency of the Council of Ministers of the EU is hoping to unblock the dossier on voluntary modulation for direct agricultural aid by the end of March. This aims to lift the European Parliament's threat of getting rid of 20% of funding in 2007 for rural development programmes.
