Bridgetown, 22/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 21 November, MEPs and representatives of ACP States meeting in Barbados at the Joint Parliamentary Assembly were unanimous in welcoming the smooth unfolding of the first democratic elections organised in the past forty years in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
