Lisbon Council asks how to overcome opposition from Europe's vested interests

Brussels, 24/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Lisbon Council for Economic Competitiveness (a think tank) has welcomed the European Commission paper on globalisation 'as a valuable contribution to the debate on the future of the European social model,' ahead of the discussions by European heads of state at the special Hampton Court Summit.
