Leeds, 24/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - While development ministers meeting in Leeds devoted their lunch on Monday to the dramatic situation of those who survived the earthquake of 8 October in Pakistan, the European Commission proposed, in Brussels, that the EU budget's emergency reserve should be used to make another EUR 80 million available to help those affected by the disaster (EUR 30 million in humanitarian aid and EUR 50 million for rehabilitation and reconstruction).
