Guatemala needs child adoption legislation to stop children being sold for profit

Strasbourg, 08/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - Adopting a resolution in Strasbourg on Thursday tabled by all political parties apart from IND/DEM on child trafficking in Guatemala, the European Parliament denounced the existence of organised crime networks with international ramifications, and the growing number of international adoption agencies selling off children.
