EP extends aid possibilities for fishermen and aqua-farmers

Strasbourg, 08/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - By extending the possibilities for intervention under the European fund for fisheries and aquaculture (period 2007-2013), the European Parliament has reopened the old debate on aid for modernisation and fleet renewal, to which the European Commission hoped to have put an end following the reform of the common fisheries policy (CFP) in December 2002.
