Parliament expresses disappointment at slow progress in FLEGT action plan and urges Commission to rapidly prepare new legislative options

Strasbourg, 08/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - In a resolution adopted in Strasbourg on Thursday, the bal expressed disappointment at the very slow progress in implementing the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) action plan through voluntary agreements intended to aim illegal forestry and the sale of illegally felled trees.
