European Parliament lambasts post-election violence

Strasbourg, 08/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - By 80 to 0 with 2 abstentions, the European Parliament adopted a resolution in Strasbourg on Thursday concerning the violent repression of civilians and member of opposition parties and their supporters during demonstrations on 8 June after the postponing of the final outcome of the 15 May general elections in Ethiopia.
