08/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - Under the Euro-Mediterranean investment facility, FEMIP, the European Investment Bank has granted a loan of EUR 60 million to Lebanon for the construction of two new roads (the Taanayel-Masnaa section of the road linking Beirut and Damascus, and Tripoli's 6 km-long western bypass). The work will be implemented on the basis of a technical assistance programme over three years funded by the FEMIP Technical Assistance Fund.
