European Parliament states what it expects of CFSP and of European Security Strategy

On 14 April 2005, the European Parliament approved, and amended, the Brok report on the fundamental choices of CFSP (431 for, 85 against and 31 abstentions), and the Kuhne report on European Security Strategy 421 to 90 and 15 abstentions). The plenary's important message to the EU was to not lift its embargo on arms sales to China (see EUROPE 8829). The resolutions adopted are published in full in our series EUROPE/Documents.
