Draft report in favour of extending quotas on potato starch till 2009

Brussels, 22/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - The parliamentary committee on agriculture and rural development adopted on 18 April the draft report by Janusz Wojciechowski (EPP-ED, Poland) which recommends extending existing production quotas for potato starch until the 2008/2009 marketing years (as opposed to two years in the initial European Commission proposal: EUROPE 8843).
