Advocate General Geelhoed says that Greece has not done what was required of it for recovering illegal state aid granted to Olympic Airways

Luxembourg, 01/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - A court press release indicated that Advocate General Geelhoed considers Greece has not taken the necessary measures for recovering aid granted to the Olympic Airways airline, which the European Commission judged incompatible with the common market. The Advocate General indicated that adoption of the law on 26 September 2003 aimed to transfer most Olympic Airways assets to Olympic Airlines, which prevented the recovery of aid to the company...
