"Press-Communication-Freedom" intergroup and new support measures for Florence Aubenas

Strasbourg, 14/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - As of 13 January, the European Parliament has a new intergroup, which is entitled "Press-Communication-Freedom", to be chaired by French UDF MEP Jean-Marie Cavada, former CEO of Radio France. The Italian member Lilli Gruber (PES), former president of RAI, and French Green Jean-Luc Bennahmias will also be part of this intergroup, according to a press release, which adds that the intergroup intends to take the initiative with an "event in support of...
