ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) banking

Insurance company ALLIANZ, re-insurance company MUNICH RE and COMMERZBANK have sold their 24.20% joint stake in mechanical construction group MAN. The deals covers 35.6 million shares, worth around EUR 1.05 bn. The deal makes French company AXA the biggest shareholder in MAN, holding 7.62% of voting rights.
