AIR FRANCE, IBERIA and LUFTHANSA, the main shareholders of AMADEUS, the world's leading tour reservation company, have opted to launch a joint takeover bid with UK investment funds CINVEN and BC PARTNERS of 7.35 euros a share to buy up the group. The companies in question set up a new joint venture for their joint takeover bid.
