Following official announcment of results, EU welcomes election of Yuschenko

Brussels, 12/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - Following the announcement on Monday of the official results of the presidential elections in Ukraine on 26 December, the Luxembourg presidency on Tuesday addressed an official message of congratulations to the new Ukrainian president, Victor Yuschenko.
