Strasbourg, 12/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Presidencies of the Council of the EU "follow on from each other and bear no resemblance to each other", said Jean-Claude Juncker who, presenting the European Parliament with the programme for the six months of Luxembourg Presidency on Wednesday, pointed out that when he chaired the Council in 1985, there were ten Member States, in 1991 there were twelve, and now there are twenty-five.
