Visit from Ferrero-Waldner to Washington

Brussels, 12/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - External relations Commissioner, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, went to Washington on Wednesday for two days of meetings with the Secretary of State Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice (who will soon be taking over from Powell) and the new National Security Adviser, appointed by president Bush, Stephen Hadley. A Commission press release said that during the visit Ferrero-Waldner aims to "cement the good working relationship" between the European Union and US...
