Strasbourg, 12.01.2005 (Agence Europe) - By 500 to 137 with 40 abstentions the European Parliament on Wednesday endorsed the report by British Labour MEP Richard Corbett and Spanish Partido Popular MEP Inigo Mendez de Vigo approving the European Constitution and unreservedly recommending its ratification, and hoped all Member States would be able to complete ratification by mid 2006 (see below for breakdown of vote).
