Riccardo Illy, president of regions of Europe assembly

Brussels, 29/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - during its general assembly on 25 - 26 November in Vienna, Assembly of European Regions (ARE) unanimously elected Riccardo Illy, president of the Italian Region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, as its new president with a two year mandate. He takes over from the Austrian Liese Prokop.
