Go-ahead on Wednesday for payment of EUR 225 million in “Sapard” aid to Romania and Bulgaria

Brussels, 29/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - On 1st December the European Commission is expected to give the green light for providing aid of EUR 225.2 millions in aid from "Sapard" for Romania and Bulgaria for the budget for 2004. Aid from this special pre-accession programme for agriculture and rural development (Sapard) is distributed accordingly: 157.640 million for Romania and 67.560 million for Bulgaria.
