29/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has given its green light to the plans of BC Partners Holdings Limited, whose headquarters are on the island of Guernesey, to take sole control of the financial company Fontainebleue SA, which owns Picard Surgelés SA in France and Picard I Surgelati SpA in Italy. Both of these subsidiaries are active in the retail distribution of frozen, ready-cooked and pre-prepared food products. In France, Picard owns 562 points of sale and in Italy, Picard I has 46. This operation, for a total of 1.3 billion EUR, was approved after examination under the simplified procedure.
