RECS International recommends gradual pan-European approach to creation of internal market for renewable energy

Brussels, 23/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - Unable to adopt a Europe-wide strategy, Member States will not achieve the aims set for 2010 when it comes to the use of renewable energy. Such was the message delivered to the press Tuesday by representatives of RECS International (Renewable Energy Certificate System), who recommend introducing a standardised system of Guarantee of Origin (GoO) for energy generated from renewable sources.
