Brussels, 27/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - Tilman Lueder, Competition Spokesman, denied on Tuesday information according to which the European Commission is preparing to call on the IZAR company in order to recover aid of up to EUR 1.1 billion, including interest, paid to Spanish shipyards. The Commission is for now keeping to the amount on the account books, that is EUR 419 million to which interests must be added.
