27/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - Monday's General Affairs Council adopted a decision confirming the conclusion of an agreement between the EU and Russia on increasing quantitative thresholds for imports of certain steel products from Russia. With this rise in the volume of imports, the EU takes into account its enlargement and the accession of Central and Eastern European countries which are traditional importers of Russian steel.
