27/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - The External Relations Council adopted on Monday, without debate, a regulation amending Regulation 131/2004 which imposes certain restrictive measures against Sudan. In conformity with the Council's common position 2004/510/CFSP of 10 June amending common position 2004/31CFSP, the regulation thus amended allows further exemption to the arms embargo and assistance to military activities against Khartoum, and authorises financial and technical assistance for crisis management operations of the African Union (AU).
