German company SIEMENS has acquired a controlling stake (35.5%) in the Russian industrial group SILOVYE MACHINY (energy), which until no had been controlled by INTERROS, the holding belonging to the businessman Vladimir Potanine. SIEMENS and INTERROS will set up a joint venture 50-50 parity, which will control around 71% of SILOVYE MACHINY.
