23/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Belgian minister of finance, Didier Reynders, provided assurances on Tuesday that the European Commission would be able to use the Berlayamont building in November, following several years of renovation and asbestos removal work (and many delays: Editor's note). In a statement to the Belgian parliament Reynders declared that, "the Commission will be able to use the building as from 1 November, the date that had been set".
