ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) chemicals

French RHODIA has sold its European phosphates business to the Dutch industrial group THERMPHOS INTERNATIONAL. The business employs about 270 and, in 2003, generated a turnover of EUR 75 million. The operation "comes within the amount of around EUR 880 million in sales to be made by the group in 2004".
