Committee of the regions demands on-line administration to achieve Lisbon strategy

Brussels, 23/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the opinion of Keith Brown, member of the Clackmannanhsire Council in the United Kingdom (European Alliance), during the 16-17 June plenary session on the "role of on-line administration (eGovernment) for the future of Europe", the Committee of the Regions (CoR) called on the European Commission to "promote help local bodies provide eGovernement services in different languages, with a special emphasis on regional and lesser known languages"....
