WHO conference on children's health

Brussels, 23/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - Children are often the first to suffer illness caused by poor environmental conditions. In Budapest on 23-25 June 2004, Health and Environment Ministers of the 52 Member States in the European Region of the World Health Organisation will adopt an Action Plan - the Children's Environment and Health Action Plan for Europe (CEHAPE) - containing goals such as providing safe water and sanitation, preventing accidents and injuries and preventing and reducing...
