ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) brewery

The Belgian brewer INTERBREW has acquired, for the sum of $53.2 million, a 70% stake in the Chinese brewery ZHEJIANG SHILIANG BREWERY COMPANY. With this acquisition, INTERBREW will have a production capacity of 3 billion litres with 17 breweries and a national market share of over 10%.
