23/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - According to AFP, the Iranian minister of foreign affairs described the statement released by the presidency of the EU at the end of the 4th EU/Iran dialogue session on human rights as "propaganda" (EUROPE 22 June p 9). Kamal Kharazi said that the communiqué did not reflect the atmosphere of discussions that took place last week in Tehran. He added that, "this kind of attitude does not help relations develop".
