The Belgian baggage and fashion accessories company KIPLING (turnover of 62 million EUR at the end of 2003) has been sold to the American group VF CORPORATION (turnover of 5.2 billion dollars in 2003 with over 50,000 employees). The cost of the operation has not been revealed, but is between 124 and 148 million EUR.
