Belgium: Brussels ZAVANTEM airport, which the Belgian State intends to privatise, has been approached by those of Frankfurt (FRAPORT) and Amsterdam (SCHIPOL). Each has tabled a bid for 70% of its capital. The Belgian State currently owns 63% of shares in BIAC, the airport management company, and would like to reduce this to 30%.
