09/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Commission noted the Synthesis Reports from its Directors General and Heads of Service on the contributions each department has made. Major progress has been achieved in internal reform (mainly for internal control standards) and individual reports come with a declaration of assurance regarding the financial control systems. The Commission hopes to include this in its proposal on Structural Funds for the financial year 2007-2013.
