Brussels, 13/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - Enlargement Commissioner Günter Verheugen gave a warning on Thursday against "any attempt to seek a postponement" of the adoption of the next Commission report on Turkey's respect of the Copenhagen criteria. The Commission is due to present the report in September or at the beginning of October, in a way that will allow the European Council in December to decide on the possible beginning of accession negotiations with Ankara.
