Brussels, 13/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - In recent statistics published on European film markets, the European Audiovisual Observatory (Strasbourg) shows that, in 2003, the volume of film production increased whereas frequentation of cinemas in the EU declined. Also, European films had better results on their own market but little success elsewhere. The Observatory states:
