Commission authorises 121 million EUR to build float glass production site in Saxony-Anhalt

Brussels, 21/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Commission authorised the payment of 121 million EUR in State aid to the company e-Glass AG. This aid will help to pay for the construction of a factory to produce float glass in Sülezetal-Osterweddignen, in Saxony-Anhalt, and to create 186 direct jobs in the company, plus an extra 300 jobs locally.
