21/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Economic and Monetray Committee of the European Parliament will be giving a hearing on 27 April in Brussels to Joaquim Almunia, who will be replacing Pedro Solbes (who's become economics and finance minister in Spain) as European Commissioner for economic and financial affairs.
