European Renewable Energies Federation says only Germany will reach its objectives

Brussels, 17/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - Germany will be the only EU Member State likely to reach its objectives on the proportion of renewable energy in its overall electricity consumption by 2010. This is the conclusion of a study by the European Renewable Energies Federation (EREF), which indicates in a press statement that if the situation does not change, the proportion of renewable energy in overall EU electricity consumption would be 17.8% in 2010 rather than the 22% it is committed to....
