Brussels, 11/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved the French company, BNP Paribas Immobilier, a subsidiary of the BNP Paribas bank, to buy out Atis Real International, a French company that consists of several branches action in consultancy, transactions, expertise and administration of goods. The deal with bring the two companies, active in real estate services, together. Their services, however, will remain complementary, notably from a geographical point of view. BNP is mainly present in France and Atis, which has business interests in France is also present in Spain, Germany, United Kingdom and the Benelux countries. The Commission focuses analysis on the real estate enterprise location markets in Franc where BNP Paribas Immobilier and Atis Real have significant interests. It concluded that the operation will not have an anti-competitive effect insofar as accumulated market share will not be too high and strong competitors will still be in the field.
