11/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - The office of the Union camere Toscana in Brussels is organising on 16 March at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) a conference on the theme, "Small Enterprises and international competition: how to protect typical craft products?". The meetings will be opened by Pierfrancesco Pacini¸ president of Union camere and Timmo Summa, director at DG Enterprise at the European Commission. Participants will include Hans Werner Müller, secretary general of the UEAPME, Paul Skehan, vice-secretary general of Eurochambres, Paul Rübig MEP, president of the SME-Union, Antonio Berenguer from DG Trade at the Commission and Suzana Perez Ferreras from DG Internal Market, as well as Henri Malosse, from the Economic and Social Committee (Information, Brussels: uctoscana@wol.be or Tel. 02 512 0242).
