Strasbourg, 11/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - By adopting in first reading (co-decision) of the report by Luis Berenguer Fuster (PES, Spain) on the draft revision of the direction on electromagnetic compatibility (EUROPE 22 January 2003), the European Parliament has agreed to the technical amendments proposed by the rapporteur on the field of the proposal's application (namely its use with certain kinds of equipment) and the specific demands required for permanent installations.
