Brussels, 11/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - Following the plenary debate on the situation of around 660 prisoners held in Guantanamo Bay since the attacks of 11 September 2001 in New York (EUROPE 10 March p 15), the European Parliament adopted on Thursday by 425 votes for, 62 against with 29 abstentions, the report of Danish Liberal Ole Andreasen, which calls for the US authorities to "immediately put an end to the current legal limbo in which the detainees held in Guantanamo Bay have, since...
