11/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised the following two operations, by the simplified procedure. Firstly, it has given permission for the joint acquisition of the Germany regional railway, TransRegio Deutsche Regionalbahn by EuRailCo, a subsidiary of RATP Developpement, and Transdev. Secondly, it has given the green light to the acquisition of German chemicals company Celanese by American private investment company Blackstone.
