Commission will no longer examine State aid of less than EUR 100,000 in transport sector

Brussels, 05/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Commission adopted a draft regulation aimed at extending Regulation 69/001 on so-called "de minimis" State aid to the transport sector. The regulation provides for the control of State aid of below EUR 100,000 per company to go from the hands of the Commission to Member States over a three year period. In practice, this means that the Commission will no longer have to receive prior notification of State aid in the transport...
