Adoption of Committee's opinion on nuclear option for electricity production - Loyola de Palacio's unstinting support

Brussels, 27/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - In its plenary session, the Economic and Social Committee (EESC) adopted by 68 votes in favour, 33 against and 11 abstentions the initiative opinion presented by the Secretary General of the European Confederation of Executives, Claude Cambus, on what nuclear has to offer electricity production (see EUROPE of 31 January, p.17).
