Brussels, 27/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - By 237 to 97 with 105 abstentions, the European Parliament adopted the report by Roberto Felice Bigliardo (UEN, Italy) in Brussels on Thursday on public finance in the Economic and Monetary Union in 2003, calling on the European Commission to put forward the necessary changes to ensure a 'more intelligent' application of the Stability and Growth Pact, 'in line with the Lisbon objectives'.
